Job summary

Atlantic Group in Montgomery County, PA is seeking a Financial Analyst to support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting in a financial services environment. This in-office role analyzes performance and develops models to provide insights for planning and decision-making.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in finance/ accounting, 2+ years of experience, strong Excel and financial modeling skills, and knowledge of GAAP and SEC reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required.
• 2+ years of financial analysis or accounting experience is required, with insurance, mortgage, or financial services experience preferred.
• Knowledge of GAAP, SEC reporting, and financial services regulatory requirements is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling is required, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office and financial reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills are needed.

Responsibilities

• Financial Analysis: Analyze revenue, expenses, profitability, and financial performance to identify trends and support business decisions.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Support annual budgets, forecasts, scenario planning, and other financial planning activities.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and supporting analysis for management.
• Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain models to evaluate business initiatives, financial scenarios, and investment opportunities.
• Performance Reporting: Monitor KPIs, perform variance analysis, and communicate findings to finance and business teams.
• Compliance & Audit Support: Assist with GAAP reporting, regulatory requirements, audit requests, and internal financial controls.
