Financial Analyst II - Decision Support System at Boston Children's Hospital

Join us to apply for the Financial Analyst II - Decision Support System role at Boston Children's Hospital.

The Financial Analyst II, Decision Support System, plays an active role in all functions related to the Decisions Support System, including long-term strategy and advanced analytics.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting and maintaining patient and financial data for the Decision Support and Cost Accounting System, ensuring data quality and process improvements.
• Developing and preparing standard monthly and ad hoc reports and analyses for management, utilizing data visualization tools.
• Participating in ad hoc projects across hospital departments, including meetings with managers.
• Performing costing statistics and data analysis to support hospital cost management and patient profitability reporting.
• Coordinating external data submissions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, and resolving data issues.
• Fostering collaborative relationships with team members to contribute to group goals and a positive work environment.
• Completing additional projects as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
• At least three years of experience in financial analysis or a similar role.
• Remote work opportunity.
