Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific in Pittsburgh seeks a Financial Analyst II to support the Customer Channels Group. You will report to a Finance Manager and assist the Commercial Team with contracts, customer incentives, and financial analysis across the business.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Finance, at least 3 years of experience, strong Excel skills, and excellent communication abilities to build relationships at all levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related field required.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills essential.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Forecast, track and initiate payment of customer incentives.
• Book month-end customer incentive accruals.
• Monthly variance analysis of actual customer performance vs expectations.
• Perform special projects and ad-hoc reporting for finance and leadership.
• Collaborate with internal departments to implement new contracts.
• Prepare standard reports to support customers and Sales Team.
• Analyze multi-system variances for accuracy and root causes.
• Support team knowledge sharing and back-up for colleagues.
