Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to provide financial leadership for the Detroit and Miami sites. You will partner with Operations and Business leadership to drive operational performance and value creation while serving our global customers.

In this role you will analyze revenue, margins and expenses, help develop the annual plan and forecasts, and drive continuous improvement with strong internal controls across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• MBA preferred.
• Strong proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Cognos or equivalent reporting tools.
• Travel less than 25%.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted finance partner to site leadership and business segment leads, providing financial guidance and recommendations.
• Review, analyze, and monitor revenue, margin, and operating expense performance; identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Translate financial results into actionable insights for leadership.
• Support annual operating plan, weekly revenue forecasts, and other projections.
• Monitor cost performance and advise on cost drivers and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with site leadership on benchmarking, productivity, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain strong internal controls and adherence to company policies.
• Drive efficiency across finance operating processes.
