Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Financial Analyst (Level II) to improve insights for business leadership. This on-site role supports the Engine Product Costing and Execution team, developing automation and scalable reporting in Excel, SQL, and Python.

You will build data-driven cost analyses, document controls, and partner with finance, accounting, and operations to identify cost-saving opportunities. Relocation assistance is provided for candidates who meet the qualifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related analytical field.
• 2+ years of accounting/financial analytics experience.
• Advanced Excel with Power Query and macros/VBA.
• Strong SQL skills and Python for data tasks.
• Experience building repeatable analyses and automated reporting.

Responsibilities

• Build and implement automation using Excel/SQL and Python where appropriate to reduce cycle time and errors.
• Develop scalable, well-controlled reporting workflows for product cost monthly reporting.
• Create repeatable, versioned analyses with documentation and data lineage.
• Mine and reconcile data across systems; improve data quality with root-cause fixes.
• Understand manufacturing processes and tools (MRP, CBOM, Work Orders).
• Collaborate with finance, accounting, and operations; communicate findings clearly.
