Job summary

Zone 5 Technologies in the United States is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join our UAS-focused finance team. You will build Excel models, analyze budgets, and present financial trends to leadership and cross-functional partners.

You should be proficient in advanced Excel, have a working knowledge of accounting, and be comfortable turning numbers into actionable insights in a fast-paced, high-innovation environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (INDEX/MATCH, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS) and financial modeling.
• Working knowledge of PowerPoint for professional presentations.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles (debits/credits, accruals).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• 1–5 years of relevant experience (internships count).
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Experience with BI tools (Power BI or Tableau) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot complex Excel models for budgeting and forecasting.
• Consolidate and reconcile financial data from multiple sources.
• Create charts, dashboards, and reports to communicate trends to stakeholders.
• Prepare PowerPoint presentations summarizing financial findings for leadership.
• Track budgets vs actuals and flag variances.
• Assist month-end/quarter-end close with basic journal entries.
• Maintain organized spreadsheets for audit readiness.
• Collaborate with program managers and finance to refine models.
