Mercor is seeking an Accounting Expert for a remote, contract-based role in the United States. You will evaluate AI-generated accounting outputs, analyze model reasoning, and provide written feedback to help improve accuracy and compliance with GAAP/IFRS standards.

The position requires CPA or equivalent, a degree in Accounting/Finance, and strong written communication. Immediate start with rolling reviews and part-time commitment (10–20 hours/week).

Formación

• 2+ years of professional experience in accounting, audit, or tax.
• CPA or equivalent and/or a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Fluent in GAAP and/or IFRS and financial-statement analysis.
• Excellent written communication with high attention to detail.

• Clearly explain output superiority, citing correctness, standards compliance ( GAAP/IFRS ), and reasoning quality.

• Participate in onboarding and specialty calibration sessions.
