Job summary

Protomiq is seeking a mid‑level Financial Analyst to join our Finance team in Atlanta, GA. The role focuses on financial modeling, forecasting, and partnering with department leaders to drive decisions across the organization.

You will work closely with senior finance staff to deliver timely analyses, improve reporting, and support budgeting and long‑range planning in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, corporate finance, or a related area.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables, financial modeling).
• Hands-on experience with ERP/FP&A systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Workday Adaptive Planning, Anaplan).
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Solid understanding of financial statements, GAAP, and core accounting principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to non-finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis.
• Partner with department leaders to provide financial insights informing operational decisions.
• Lead the preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecast updates.
• Analyze key business drivers, trends, and performance metrics for management findings.
• Support month-end and quarter-end close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to track KPIs and improve visibility.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting efficiency, and data accuracy.
• Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis and business cases, ROI analyses, and special projects.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
