Job summary

Protos Security, a leading security and software company based in Norwalk, CT, is seeking a Junior Financial Analyst to support FP&A, forecasting, budgeting, and KPI reporting. This early-career role collaborates with Finance, Accounting, Operations, Sales, and HR to deliver accurate management reporting and insightful financial analytics.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and identify key trends and variances.
• Working knowledge of fundamentals: income statement, balance sheet, cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills with the ability to clearly summarize financial findings.
• High level attention to details, organization, and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly financial analysis, including Actual vs. Budget, Actual vs. Forecast, and year-over-year variance analysis.
• Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reporting packages, management reporting, dashboards, and supporting analysis for Executive and Senior Management.
• Support the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes, including data collection, financial analysis, model updates, and consolidation of business assumptions.
• Work closely with Accounting to review monthly financial results, investigate material variances, and ensure understanding of financial activity.
• Support the Manager, FPA&R and broader Finance team in reviewing financial performance across functional units and service lines.
• Assist with KPI development, maintenance, and reporting to measure business and financial performance.
