Job summary

The Marzetti Company is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our FP&A team in Columbus, OH. This role offers exposure to Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Logistics, with emphasis on Excel modeling and cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting and 1–3 years of experience, strong analytical capabilities, and excellent communication skills to produce clear reporting packages and insights for leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required.
• 1–3 years finance or accounting experience.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner in a fast-paced team to deliver financial analysis and translate data into insights.
• Prepare monthly financial results and variance analyses for functional leaders.
• Detailed SG&A reporting for R&D, Legal, Finance, HR and corporate functions.
• Support month-end close with journal entries as needed.
• Assist with development and execution of the annual operating plan (AOP).
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed.
