Job summary

The Marzetti Company is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our FP&A team in Columbus, Ohio. This role offers exposure to Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, Procurement and Logistics, with strong Excel modeling and reporting skills and a passion for learning the business.

You will partner with cross‑functional teams to deliver monthly results, variance analyses, and SG&A reporting, support the annual operating plan, and handle ad hoc analyses to drive actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting or related field.
• 1-3 years of finance or accounting experience.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver financial analysis translating data into actionable business insights for decision-making.
• Prepare monthly results and variance analyses for functional leaders with reporting packs.
• Provide SG&A reporting for R&D, Legal, Finance, HR, and corporate functions.
• Analyze consumer marketing spend across Retail and Foodservice units.
• Support month-end close and journal entries with accounting.
• Assist in developing and executing the annual operating plan (AOP).
• Conduct ad hoc analyses and reporting as needed.
