Horton, Inc. seeks a Financial Analyst to partner with business leaders and improve operating-expense visibility, capital allocation, and risk management. You will deliver analyses, forecasts, reporting, and recommendations to support disciplined spending and profitable growth.

This onsite role collaborates with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Plant Management, Accounting, IT, Legal, and Corporate Finance, and involves building dashboards with Power BI and supporting capital planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field.
• 3-5 years in financial analysis, FP&A, corporate finance, cost analysis, or operations finance.
• Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, expense management, financial statements, and capital investment analysis.
• Advanced Excel with financial modeling, scenarios, pivots, and lookups.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational and communication skills.
• Authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management reporting for operating expenses, capital investments, and insurance costs.
• Support annual budgeting and forecasts by building templates and consolidating inputs.
• Improve reporting with standardized processes, data quality, automation, and Power BI dashboards.
• Develop capital plans with cross-functional leaders and governance.
• Evaluate capital business cases (ROI, NPV, payback, cash flow).
• Conduct post-investment reviews and coordinate annual insurance renewal with CFO, HR, and legal.
• Support insurance questions, vendor certificates, and risk-related analysis.
• Support finance transformation and ERP improvements.
