Job summary

Horton, Inc. is seeking a Financial Analyst in Westminster, SC to partner with business leaders and improve operating-expense visibility, capital allocation, and risk management.

The role delivers analysis, forecasting, reporting, and actionable recommendations for disciplined spending and profitable growth. The analyst will work with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Plant Management, Accounting, HR, IT, Legal, and Corporate Finance to drive cross-functional insights in a busy, onsite

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or related field is required.
• 3–5 years of financial analysis or FP&A experience preferred.
• Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and capital investment analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills for modeling, scenarios, pivots, lookups.
• Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
• Authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management reports for operating expenses, capex, and insurance costs.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes and consolidate inputs.
• Enhance reporting via standardized processes, data quality, and Power BI dashboards.
• Support annual capital planning with Operations, Engineering, IT, and Leadership.
• Develop and evaluate capital business cases (ROI, NPV, ROI).
• Coordinate insurance renewals with CFO, Legal, HR, and brokers.
• Conduct post-investment reviews comparing results to business cases.
• Support finance transformation and ERP improvement projects.
