The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a Financial Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial planning. You will build financial models, conduct variance analysis, and partner with business units to drive performance.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree and 2–4 years of financial analysis experience, strong Excel/Power BI skills, and proficiency with SAP, Oracle, or Hyperion. This on-site role is based in Irving, TX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Access) and financial software (SAP, Oracle, Hyperion).
• 2–4 years of financial analysis experience, preferably in retail.

Responsibilities

• Assist in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term planning.
• Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and KPIs.
• Provide insights to business units and support cross‑functional projects.
