The Michaels Companies is seeking a Financial Analyst to join its Irving, Texas team. The role supports financial planning, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to help achieve financial objectives.

You will prepare reports, perform variance analysis, and partner with business units to drive performance improvements. Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of financial analysis experience in retail, strong MS Office skills, and familiarity with SAP, Oracle, or Hyperion.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion).
• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in the retail industry.
• Power BI experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in financial planning, analysis, and reporting functions.
• Prepare financial reports and perform variance analysis.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes to aid strategic decisions.
• Conduct profitability analysis and KPI reviews.
• Partner with business units to provide financial insights and recommendations.
