Job summary

Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc. (Con Edison) is seeking a financial analyst to partner with operating areas to develop, track, and manage operational and financial plans.

The role focuses on analyses to identify cost-saving opportunities and to support forward-looking decision-making. You will interact with PMO, Construction, and other stakeholders; manage budgets in Oracle ePBCS and PI 360, provide regular reports, and contribute to capital optimization and governance processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2 years of relevant work experience.
• 2 years demonstrated quantitative experience.
• 2 years demonstrated leadership and communication experience.
• 2 years understanding ConEds business and FP&A function.
• 2 years Proficient use of Microsoft Office.
• 2 years understanding basic accounting principles.
• 2 years experience with budgeting tools such as Oracle or SAP.

Responsibilities

• Develop, track, and monitor budgets and forecasts with PMO/Construction.
• Provide monthly/weekly reports and spend driver analysis.
• Participate in capital optimization and governance.
• Attend customer meetings and review forecast assumptions.
• Enter budget data into Oracle ePBCS and PI 360.
• Validate data in financial reports.
• Support accruals validation and payments.
• Coordinate with Operations/Engineering/PMO for budgets and forecasts.
• Assist in automation of FP&A reports.
• Perform other duties as needed.
