Job summary

King & Spalding LLP is seeking a Financial Analyst to support reporting, modeling, and data integrity across the firm’s financial systems. You will work with internal business customers to define reporting requirements, build parameter-based reports, and distribute reports electronically.

The role also involves extracting data, partnering with IT, and generating analyses for Partners and Senior Management. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree and 1–2 years of experience in a professional

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; finance, accounting, or business discipline preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in a law firm or corporate finance environment preferred.
• Ability to translate vague directions into concrete actions.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines.
• Ability to communicate results clearly to diverse audiences; proficiency with Excel and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate recurring data requests for possible report creation with end-user execution.
• Advance electronic distribution of reports and ensure data integrity across applications.
• Map data elements from various sources to target databases.
• Perform extractions from the financial system and maintain data accuracy.
• Prepare recurring and special management reports/graphs and generate ad hoc financial models.
• Monitor key performance indicators and conduct competitive benchmarking.
