Job summary

Advertising Specialty Institute is seeking a Financial Analyst to support financial reporting, analysis, and business performance across Supplier and Distributor divisions. Hybrid work model with in-person office presence required on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in Trevose, PA.

The role reports to the Director of Finance & Reporting and focuses on maintaining accurate financial information, identifying trends, and supporting management decisions through actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in financial analysis, financial reporting, or related finance role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret financial data and explain variances.
• Experience working with large datasets, including data manipulation, reconciliation, and validation.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and data analysis functions.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and calculations.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with Finance, Sales, and partners.
• Experience with SQL, Power Query, Power BI, Power Automate, or Microsoft Copilot is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly financial and operational reports, including revenue, transaction activity, and key business metrics.
• Perform monthly revenue analysis, identifying trends and variances against budget, forecast, and prior-year results.
• Compile, reconcile, and validate data used in monthly listings and other recurring financial reports.
• Support month-end close activities by preparing reports, reconciling data, and ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial information.
• Calculate, reconcile, and validate monthly sales commissions for various sales teams, ensuring accuracy against compensation plans.
• Calculate and track corporate contract rebates, ensuring accurate reporting and supporting documentation.
• Provide analytical support for budgeting, forecasting, and other financial planning activities.
• Complete ad hoc financial analyses and reporting requests to support management and decision-making.
