Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA/CPA preferred.
• Double-entry, accrual accounting experience required.
• Previous experience in financial institution accounting or operations is preferred.
• Data mining, analysis, and interpretation skills are important.

Responsibilities

• Produces and remits various regulatory reports in a timely manner.
• Provides reports to committees for asset/liability and allowance for loan loss.
• Prepares credit union financial and asset/liability reports.
• Develops implementation enhancements, performs back testing, and supports third-party validations.
• Maintains investment accounting ledgers and reports.
• Supports administrative and operational needs of departments.
• Assists with annual budget preparation and forecasting.
• Offers ongoing monitoring and advice on accounting policies and issues.
