Job summary

Prime Group is seeking a Construction Financial Analyst to support financial analysis and reporting across our construction and development projects in Hollywood, Florida. The role focuses on evaluating performance, ROI, working capital, and investment results throughout the construction lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in financial analysis, a finance-related degree, and strong skills in Excel and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within construction or real estate.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and financial/accounting systems (e.g., Sage 300).
  • Ability to interpret business documents, write clear reports, and present information effectively.
  • Strong math skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze actual construction project performance against forecasts and budgets.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Construction on strategy, pricing, and contracts.
  • Assess financial performance of current and future construction assets.
  • Prepare proformas and perform financial analysis for projects.
  • Conduct due diligence for new construction projects and prepare investor and bank reports.
  • Review capital expenditure requests for ROI and payback.
  • Track draw schedules, budgets, and cost variances.
  • Prepare internal financial reports for leadership.
  • Support cost-saving proposals and continuous improvement.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Hands-on with numbers, sharp on the details, and ready to dig into real estate finance? Prime Group is looking for a Construction Financial Analyst to support financial analysis and reporting across our construction and development projects.

Job Summary

The Financial Analyst – Construction provides in-depth financial analysis for Prime Group's construction and development projects, with a focus on evaluating financial performance, rates of return, working capital, and investment performance throughout the construction lifecycle. This role plays a key part in helping the organization make informed, data-driven decisions on active and upcoming construction ventures.

What You'll Do
  • Analyze actual construction project performance against financial forecasts and budgets
  • Collaborate with Operations and Construction teams on business strategy, pricing, and contract reviews
  • Assess the financial performance of construction assets, both current and future
  • Prepare proformas and conduct financial analysis for new and ongoing construction projects

  • Prepare internal financial reports for leadership
  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects and evaluate cost-saving proposals from Operations

  • Ability to solve practical problems, interpret instructions, and manage diverse issues
