Job summary

Houlihan Lokey’s Financial And Valuation Advisory practice seeks a Financial Analyst to support valuations of illiquid debt and equity, build complex models, and analyze financial statements. You’ll collaborate with hedge funds, PE funds, and other asset managers, contributing to market insights and client deliverables.

You will participate in due diligence, prepare analyses, and assist with engagement pricing and marketing efforts, gaining exposure to diverse asset classes.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical abilities and financial statement analysis skills.
• Fundamental understanding of valuation theory, methodologies, and applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to work with teams.

Responsibilities

• Support portfolio valuation teams with illiquid debt and equity securities valuations.
• Develop and review financial models and perform scenario analyses.
• Review client memos, board presentations, and financial agreements to understand assets under analysis.
• Prepare client deliverables and present analyses to clients; assist with engagement marketing and pricing.
• Coordinate with internal teams to prepare engagement invoices and close-out files.
• Participate in due diligence meetings with clients and advisors.
