Job summary

Gateway Group Personnel is seeking a Financial Analyst for on-site work in Memphis, Monday–Friday, 8–5, within a small corporate accounting team.

The role focuses on AP support, month-end close, budgeting/forecasting, variance analysis, and business performance reporting. Local candidates with 0–2 years in finance and strong Excel skills are preferred, with growth opportunities across accounting functions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or equivalent required.
0–2 years of experience in finance, accounting, accounts payable, or related analytical role preferred.
Proficiency in Excel with pivot tables, lookups, and financial modeling; Power BI experience preferred.
Exposure to SAP ERP systems; manufacturing/ops finance experience a plus.

Responsibilities

Support accounts payable processes including invoice processing, reconciliations, and inquiries.
Conduct month-end close activities with journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis.
Monitor purchase orders and aging items for accurate financial reporting.
Assist budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and business performance analysis.
Engage in inventory and manufacturing finance activities.
