Job summary

Gateway Group Personnel is seeking a Financial Analyst for on-site work in Memphis, Monday–Friday, 8–5, within a small corporate accounting team.

The role focuses on AP support, month-end close, budgeting/forecasting, variance analysis, and business performance reporting. Local candidates with 0–2 years in finance and strong Excel skills are preferred, with growth opportunities across accounting functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or equivalent required.
• 0–2 years of experience in finance, accounting, accounts payable, or related analytical role preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel with pivot tables, lookups, and financial modeling; Power BI experience preferred.
• Exposure to SAP ERP systems; manufacturing/ops finance experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support accounts payable processes including invoice processing, reconciliations, and inquiries.
• Conduct month-end close activities with journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis.
• Monitor purchase orders and aging items for accurate financial reporting.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and business performance analysis.
• Engage in inventory and manufacturing finance activities.

Our client is a worldwide developer of technology products and they are seeking a Financial Analyst to join their corporate team. This opportunity is working on-site M-F 8-5 with a small, structured corporate accounting team. We are seeking a foundation in general accounting (especially Accounts Payable) and there is room for growth into the following areas: assist monthly financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, month-end close activities, and business performance reporting. This position partners closely with operations, supply chain, procurement, and accounting teams.

Responsibilities

• Support accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, reconciliations, discrepancy resolution, and vendor inquiries.
• Conduct month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis.
• Monitor purchase orders, goods receipts, and aging items to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Maintain data integrity within financial systems and reporting tools.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and business performance analysis.
• Conduct inventory accounting, cost accounting, and manufacturing finance activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or equivalent required.
• 0–2 years of experience in finance, accounting, accounts payable, or related analytical role preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and financial modeling. Experience with Power BI or other data visualization preferred.
• Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP.
• Manufacturing, supply chain, or operational finance experience preferred.
