Responsibilities

• Financial Analysis: Deliver insightful financial analysis and reporting for the dormakaba Holding entity with Shared Services.
• Audit Support: Coordinate internal and external audits and facilitate data exchange between sites and audit teams.
• Process Improvement: Review and enhance existing accounting processes following Group directives.
• Balance Sheet Oversight: Participate in Balance Sheet reviews with site leadership and track action items.
• System Implementation & Efficiency: Support SAP S/4Hana implementation and related efficiency initiatives.

This role is integral to driving financial excellence across the organization, overseeing key aspects of the dormakaba Holding entity, supporting balance sheet reviews, and partnering with internal teams to implement accounting changes, thereby strengthening accounting processes and controls.

What You’ll Actually Do

• Financial Analysis: Deliver insightful financial analysis and reporting specifically for the dormakaba Holding entity, working in close coordination with the Shared Services team.
• Audit Support: Coordinate and support both internal and external audits, facilitating communication and data exchange between various sites and the dedicated audit team.
• Process Improvement: Review and enhance existing accounting processes, ensuring compliance and successful implementation of Group Accounting directives across the organization.
• Balance Sheet Oversight: Actively participate in Balance Sheet reviews with site leadership and diligently follow up on all identified action items to ensure timely resolution.
• System Implementation & Efficiency: Play a key role in the implementation of SAP S/4Hana across various sites, and engage in other projects aimed at increasing efficiency in reporting, performance analysis cycles, and handling new initiatives and ad hoc data requests.

• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a similar analytical discipline.
• Experience:
• Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting and finance principles; ability to work cross functionally and across business boundaries to solve issues and drive tasks and projects to completion; ability to communicate effectively with senior management; results-oriented approach as a strategic thinker and planner.
• Bonus: MBA is a plus; experience with an integrated ERP system, especially SAP experience, is a plus; AI experience is a plus.
