Job summary

Sciens Building Solutions is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the Central Region Finance team. The ideal candidate will partner with divisions to drive informed business decisions and manage month-end close and consolidation across the region.

This role supports budgeting, forecasting, special projects, and maintaining strong internal controls. Responsibilities include preparing consolidated financial statements, analyzing performance, and assisting audits and tax filings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
• Five to seven years of related experience in finance, accounting or audit.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. accounting principles.
• Experience with percentage-of-completion accounting is required.
• Able to communicate effectively, written and verbally.
• Knowledge and experience with QuickBooks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate monthly closing across the region.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Analyze financial performance and prepare projections.
• Assess and forecast KPIs.
• Prepare presentations for monthly management reviews.
• Prepare fiscal year-end financial statements and corporate tax returns; assist audit activities.
• Prepare external financial and bank compliance reports.
• Coordinate annual budgeting process.
• Research and provide opinions on proper GAAP accounting for new processes.
• Reconcile financial data with attention to detail.
• Participate in special projects, such as ERP system implementation.
