Come Join the DES Team! The Department of Economic Security, Financial Services Administration (FSA), is seeking an experienced, analytical, and detail-oriented Financial Analyst 2. In this role, you will hold primary responsibility for financial forecasting, variance analysis, federal reporting, and fiscal monitoring across high-profile agency programs. As a core member of the team, you will prepare advanced fiscal reports, analyze complex spending trends, evaluate the fiscal impact of proposed legislation, and execute critical cost-benefit and break-even analyses. Additionally, you will serve as the primary financial liaison between FSA and programmatic leadership, collaborating closely with key external stakeholders including the Governor’s Office of Strategic Planning and Budgeting (OSPB) and the Joint Legislative Budget Committee (JLBC). This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.
