About the Role

Paz Financial Consulting is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support accurate financial analysis and reporting. This role contributes to informed decision-making by collecting, analyzing, and presenting financial data in a clear and timely manner.

Success in this position means delivering reliable insights, maintaining strong data integrity, and partnering effectively with internal stakeholders to support financial planning, performance tracking, and continuous improvement.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and performance drivers.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and dashboards for financial and operational stakeholders.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities through data collection and analysis.
• Conduct reconciliations to ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems and reports.
• Evaluate financial results against plans, prior periods, and relevant benchmarks.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support scenario analysis and decision-making.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and clarify reporting needs.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and communicate insights in a timely manner.
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and ad-hoc reporting as needed.
• Document processes, assumptions, and methodologies to support transparency and audit readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• 1+ years of experience in financial analysis, financial reporting, or a related role.
• Proficiency with spreadsheet tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel) for analysis, modeling, and reporting.
• Experience creating reports and using data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI or similar) is preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial concepts such as budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial statements.
• Ability to work with large datasets while maintaining high attention to detail and data integrity.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for presenting insights to non-technical audiences.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
