Job summary

Soni is seeking a Financial Analyst in New York to support budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and data analysis that informs strategic decisions. You will partner with business leaders to deliver financial insights, forecasts, and performance metrics, driving operational and financial improvements.

You will develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs while collaborating across teams to provide financial guidance and optimize budgeting processes. Strong Excel and FP&A experience are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, or related areas.
  • Strong experience with financial modeling, reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, and complex formulas.
  • Experience with financial planning/reporting systems (Oracle Hyperion/EPM or similar preferred).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams.
  • Experience with CRM, BI, and data analytics tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

Job description

The Financial Analyst is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and data analysis to support business performance and strategic decision-making. Compensation: $85,000

Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
