Job summary

Michael Kors (USA) Inc. is seeking a data-driven FP&A professional in the United States to support US Wholesale planning of sales, margins, and SG&A expenses.

You will help prepare annual budgets and monthly forecasts, review expenses with business partners, and contribute to month-end and quarter-end close processes. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting and at least 2 years in FP&A, with strong Excel skills and the ability to thrive in a hybrid office setting.

Responsibilities

• Plan Sales, Margin and SG&A expenses for US Wholesale.
• Assist in preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
• Meet with business partners monthly to review expenses and call risks and opportunities.
• Assist with month-end and quarter-end financial close process.
• Prepare journal entries as needed/requested.
• Consolidate global reporting needs for brand.
• Reconcile financial data and analyze business trends for the brand.
• Create and maintain financial brand reporting for monthly/quarterly reviews with exec team.
• Work on ad-hoc projects as requested.

What You’ll Do

• Michael Kors US Wholesale Partner with the US Wholesale divisions in planning Sales, Margin and SG&A expenses.
• Assist in preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
• Meet with the business partners monthly to review expenses and proactively call risks and opportunities based on current trends in spending.
• Assist with month-end and quarter-end financial close process.
• Prepare journal entries as needed/requested.
• Michael Kors Global Brand Consolidate Global reporting needs.
• Reconcile financial data and analyze business trends for the Brand.
• Create, update and maintain financial brand reporting for monthly and quarterly reviews with the executive management team.
• Work on ad-hoc projects as requested.

You’ll Need to Have

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an FP&A role
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Proficient in Excel
• Flexibility to work in office when needed (hybrid schedule)

Compensation Range: 80,000.00 - 92,000.00 USD
