A leading company in the financial sector is seeking a financial analyst who will focus on enhancing customer relations and managing crucial financial processes. This position demands excellent organizational skills and the ability to deliver detailed financial reports. Candidates should have a strong educational background in Accounting or Finance, alongside practical financial analysis experience and robust proficiency in MS Excel.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Build relationships with and provide excellent customer service to the business unit(s)
- Completing the month-end and quarter-end close processes, by examining results, preparing journal entries and detailed balance sheet reconciliations, and reporting for senior management
- Tracking & examining operating expenses and managing inter-company transactions
- Preparing information requests and responding to questions during quarterly reviews and the annual audit
- Special projects & ad hoc reporting as required
Requirements:
- Education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Experience in financial analysis roles, accounting roles, or relevant experience
- Excellent proficiency in MS Excel and Data analysis
- Proven attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
