Responsibilities

The Senior Analyst will be a key member of the Portfolio Management team, supporting the management and execution of investment strategy across a diversified fund. The role provides broad exposure to portfolio management, acquisitions, asset management, financing, dispositions, valuations, and client reporting.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Support portfolio-level analysis, forecasting, and strategic decision-making, including portfolio construction, investment pacing, liquidity, concentration, and risk analysis.
  • Evaluate prospective investments to determine alignment with portfolio objectives, including return requirements, market and sector exposure, tenant and lease rollover, concentration, and overall portfolio fit.
  • Prepare and review portfolio-level financial analyses, performance reports, client materials, and internal management reporting.
  • Assist with the analysis of new investments to ensure that the opportunity meets the goals and objectives of the portfolio, including market reviews, analyzing rollover exposure, confirming return thresholds and assessing concentration risks.
  • Monitor property and portfolio performance relative to budgets, business plans, underwriting, and investment objectives; identify key trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Maintain and enhance portfolio models, forecasts, cash flow projections, and other analytical tools used to support portfolio management decisions.
  • Coordinate with Asset Management and third-party appraisers in connection with property valuations, operating budgets, business plans, and quarterly portfolio reviews.
  • Support financing, refinancing, disposition, and other capital markets transactions.
  • Maintain historical portfolio and peer data, and prepare recurring competitive set updates benchmarking performance, strategy, investment activity, and positioning relative to peers.
  • Partner with colleagues across Portfolio Management, Acquisitions, Asset Management, Research, Finance, and Client Capital Management In portfolio initiatives and special projects.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; degree in finance, economics, real estate, business, or a related discipline preferred. 1–3 years of relevant experience in commercial real estate, investment management, investment banking, financial services, or a related field. Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with ARGUS Enterprise preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex analysis into clear conclusions. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams. Candidate should be proactive and self‑motivated. Strong work ethic, integrity and commitment to meet deadlines are essential candidate attributes.

If based in New York, the base salary range for this position is USD $95,000 - $110,000. Actual base salary offered will be determined by several components including but not limited to the candidate's experience, job-related knowledge, and qualifications. Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role. Total compensation may vary based on role, location, and individual performance. For roles located outside of Los Angeles, please disregard the posted salary range as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on the local market.
