Job summary

Precoat Metals Corp in Missouri is seeking an experienced finance professional for a role with significant FP&A, analytics, modeling, and investment decision responsibilities. You will be a true business partner to regional and plant management teams, driving standardization, benchmarking, and continuous improvement across finance and operations.

You will engage in month-end close, forecasting, budgeting, and due diligence, while advising on contract negotiations and KPI improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Accounting/Finance required.
• CPA/MBA preferred.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of GAAP.

• 3-5 years of progressive finance and data analytics experience.

Responsibilities

• Month end analysis, reporting and management communications.
• Monthly forecasting and annual/long-term planning and budgeting.
• Acquisition due diligence support.
• Partner with operations, commercial, HR, MIS and finance leads to identify profitability improvements.
• Assist with contract negotiations for customers, vendors, labor, warehouse, and natural gas.
• Perform complex financial analyses including ROI, what-if scenarios and board presentations.
• Standardize best-practice processes across the organization.
• Collaborate with Accounting to drive financial improvements and change.
• Support month end close and MIS KPI streamlining.

Job Description

Where you can make a difference is through:

• Month end analysis, reporting & management communications, monthly forecasting, annual and long term planning and budgeting in addition to acquisition due diligence
• Key Business Partner to operations, commercial, HR, MIS and finance leads including: revenue generation or cost reduction opportunity identification and implementation, profitability analysis and improvement, assist with working capital management, identify and implement operational efficiencies, continuous improvement, process improvement and benchmarking initiatives, assist with defining and setting strategy, in addition to delivering top notch customer service internally and externally as the face of the finance organization
• Assist with contract negotiations for customer, vendor, labor, warehouse and natural gas contracts
• Handle complex and high level financial analysis, not limited to: financial modeling, what-if scenarios, capital and investment justifications, ROI analysis, and board and bank presentations
• Administer standardization and best practice efforts for the organization (one consistent and standard way)
• Partner with the Accounting group to understand key drivers of the financial statements, identify areas for improvement, and collaborate to drive change
• Assist in month end close duties
• Work with Management Information Systems (MIS) to streamline KPI’s and business information
• Primary point of contact for Regional General Manager on finance related topics.
