Job summary

Trojan Battery Company in Santa Fe Springs, CA is seeking a Financial Analyst to deliver timely, meaningful financial analysis and reporting to internal customers. You will support operations with insights, help ensure accuracy of numbers used by leadership, and prepare critical reports with a high degree of professionalism.

The role requires strong Excel skills, experience with Plex ERP, Workday, Power BI or Adaptive Insights, and the ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in finance or accounting.
• 2–4 years of FP&A experience.
• Proficient in Excel; advanced skills.
• Experience with Plex ERP, Workday, Power BI or Adaptive Insights is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Update monthly operations review reports for executive leadership and private equity owners.
• Provide daily plant inventory reporting and overtime analysis to leadership.
• Prepare month-end reports and journal entries.
• Input financial/non-financial data into Adaptive Insights and other systems.
• Prepare and distribute department expenses to department managers.
• Assist in updating annual operating plan and related schedules in Adaptive Insights.
• Prepare semi-annual and annual reporting documentation to state agencies.
• Support Purchasing and Accounts Payable to ensure timely vendor payments.
• Coordinate with capital project managers to track spend on capital projects.
