Work Location: Hybrid (remote with limited in-person activities at 1855 Folsom St, San Francisco, CA)
Statement of Work :
- Manage a high volume of invoices and ensure timely payment.
- Obtain necessary approvals for invoices.
- Verify invoices for budget compliance.
- Process and code invoices and credit memos.
- Research, identify, and resolve complex invoice issues, including electronic and unpaid invoices.
- Assist in managing accounts payable documents.
- Ensure understanding of sales and use tax requirements and proper assessment on invoices.
- Identify transactions subject to 1099 reporting.
- Audit and process expense reports for compliance.
- Research and resolve expense report and invoice issues, making necessary corrections.
- Provide guidance on UC policies related to procure-to-pay, travel expenses, and reimbursements.
- Manage high volume invoices and expense reports within online systems like Concur, Workday, or similar.
- Review and approve payment requests, ensuring complete documentation and adherence to UC policies.
- Manage work queues within Service Level Agreements (SLA).
- Create and run departmental or operational reports for analysis and monitoring.
- Utilize online accounts payable and expense reimbursement systems (e.g., PeopleSoft, Concur, Workday).
- Proficient in Excel, capable of managing large data sets and reporting.
- Detail-oriented and tactful in sensitive situations.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage workload efficiently.
- Bright, quick learner.
Experience :
- 1-2 years of experience in finance or accounting, with a college degree preferred.
Location :
- Remote, with possible occasional in-person activities such as training or meetings.
Shift :
- Day shift, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM PST, 5 days a week.
