Position Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical and driven Financial Analyst to lead the development and oversight of proprietary ratings models within the insurance sector. This role combines deep financial analysis with strategic research and thought leadership, offering the opportunity to shape industry benchmarks and guide both investor and consumer decisions. Key Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain, and evolve proprietary ratings models to reflect industry dynamics and ensure analytical rigor.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure data accuracy, structure, and methodology integrity.
• Deliver quarterly ratings and custom reporting on schedule and in alignment with publication standards.

Research & Analysis

• Conduct sector-wide financial and trend analysis, identifying emerging patterns in the insurance market.
• Produce research articles, whitepapers, and client-ready reports that support strategic positioning and public engagement.
• Respond to inquiries from internal stakeholders, clients, and media outlets with expert insight.

Project & Stakeholder Management

• Lead cross-functional projects from concept through completion, working with database, content, and design teams.
• Support marketing and business development efforts, including client presentations and event participation.
• Provide mentorship and direction to junior analysts and research assistants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within the insurance or banking sector.
• Proficient in Excel, with experience in SQL and data tools a strong plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and presentation delivery.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic about continuous learning and improvement.
