Responsibilities

• Identify and investigate accounting system discrepancies, balancing issues, GL masking errors, and user input errors.
• Reconcile subledgers to the general ledger across multiple currencies and entities.
• Develop and improve reports and analytical tools to identify discrepancies, increase efficiency, and flag potential issues.
• Review accounting records and develop controls to support accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Perform monthly reviews of partner tax withholding and capital accounts.
• Review manual general ledger journal entries for accuracy and account integrity.
• Collaborate with financial systems admins and accounting teams to develop reports and resolve issues.
• Review and reconcile intercompany accounts.
• Reconcile accounts payable and advanced client costs.

LAW FIRM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Global law firm is seeking a Financial Analyst to review accounting system activity, investigate discrepancies, and strengthen financial reporting and controls.
