Ahlstrom seeks a Financial Analyst–ACO to provide analytical support for controlling, prepare internal financial statements and bridges, assist forecasting and budgeting, and support the sales team in updating the Sector data base and commission payments.

TheFinancial Analyst–ACOis responsible for providing analytical support for theACO controlling, preparing internal financial statements and bridges, assisting with theforecasting andbudgeting processes, and supportingthe sales team in updating theSectordata base (monthly, quarterly,inforecasts andinannual planning)andcommission payments. This position is expected tosupportcost-reduction efforts, assist in maximizing the efficiency of the financial systems, and communicatewithin the Controlling and Sales Teams.
TheFinancial Analystresponsibilitiesincludingthe following:
Must follow Ahlstrom’s manufacturing and hygiene processes, procedures and policies, as applicable, to the position’s areas of responsibility, in order to meet and maintain the safety, quality, and regulatory compliance requirements for each grade of paper.
Assistandconsolidatefinancial results for theACOandSales Data Basefor monthly, quarterly, and forecast reviews
Prepare and provide PMV reports to Plant Controllers monthly
Consolidatecommission payment information, calculate payments, and obtain approvals at the proper frequency
Helpimplement best practices for analytics and reporting, ensuring consistent calculations and comparisons
Provide financial and analytical support and analyses for various projects and cost reduction initiatives
Assist Controllerswith audits and adherence to controls
All other assignments assigned by management
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Financerequired; CMA/CPA and/or MBA is a plus
1+ years of cost analysis and accounting experience in a manufacturing environmentpreferred
Paper Industry experience is preferred
