Job summary

Ahlstrom in Kaukauna, Wisconsin is seeking a Storeroom Supervisor to lead daily operations in a fast-paced paper and pulp manufacturing environment. This role includes supervising employees and ensuring material availability while maintaining accurate inventory records.

We are seeking a Storeroom Supervisor to lead daily storeroom operations in a fast‑paced paper and pulp manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for inventory accuracy, material availability, and supervision of hourly employees in a union environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, inventory management expertise, and the ability to work effectively within a collective bargaining agreement (CBA) while supporting safe, efficient plant operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily storeroom operations including receiving, stocking, issuing, and cycle counting.
  • Lead and support union storeroom employees in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement.
  • Manage work assignments, scheduling, and overtime distribution per contractual guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate inventory in CMMS/ERP systems (SAP, Maximo, or similar).
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of MRO parts, critical spares, materials, and chemicals.
  • Partner with Maintenance, Operations, and Procurement to ensure material availability.
  • Support outages, shutdowns, and urgent repair needs through effective parts coordination.Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA and plant policies.
  • Participate in grievance processes and foster positive labor relations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize inventory.
Qualifications

  • 3–7 years of storeroom, warehouse, or inventory experience in an industrial setting.
  • Prior supervisory experience in a union environment strongly preferred.
  • Experience in paper, pulp, or heavy manufacturing highly preferred.Working knowledge of CMMS/ERP systems (JDE, SAP, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of MRO inventory and industrial parts.
