Our client is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to play a key role in pricing strategy, revenue growth, and margin optimization across key customer channels. This is a highly analytical, cross-functional position for a finance professional who enjoys turning data into actionable business recommendations and directly influencing pricing and profitability decisions.
The ideal candidate will bring strong financial modeling and Excel skills, along with experience in pricing, FP&A, revenue management, or financial analysis. This person will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and leadership to evaluate pricing opportunities, support customer negotiations, and improve overall margin performance.
What You’ll Do
- Lead pricing strategy for assigned customer accounts, aligning pricing decisions with margin and revenue objectives.
- Evaluate contract renewals, bids, and price adjustments to optimize profitability and competitive positioning.
- Analyze sales volume trends and communicate insights to Sales leadership to identify risks and growth opportunities.
- Build scenario models, margin analyses, and sensitivity analyses to evaluate pricing decisions.
- Identify margin leakage and recommend actions to improve gross-to-net performance.
- Analyze pricing elasticity, cost inputs, competitive positioning, and historical trends to develop strategic recommendations.
- Develop revenue and margin forecasts based on volume trends, cost changes, and market dynamics.
- Monitor pricing performance and price realization metrics, providing actionable insights to leadership.
- Conduct post-bid and post-program profitability analysis.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service on pricing and account strategy.
- Provide financial analysis and support during customer negotiations.
- Present pricing recommendations and financial implications to internal stakeholders and leadership.
- Collaborate with Sales to align pricing strategies with broader account growth plans.
- Ensure accurate pricing execution within ERP and trade management systems.
- Develop and enhance pricing tools, dashboards, and financial models to improve decision-making.
- Maintain customer portals and pricing documentation for key accounts.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, pricing strategy, revenue management, or a related discipline.
- Strong financial modeling capabilities and advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, scenario modeling, and complex formulas.
- Power BI or similar business intelligence experience preferred.Understanding of pricing strategy, margin management, and gross-to-net mechanics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable business recommendations.
