Job summary

BGRE in Atlanta, Georgia seeks a Financial Analyst to join its real estate finance team. You will assist with budgeting, forecasting, valuations, and model development to support debt financing and performance analysis.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, or accounting, up to three years of corporate finance experience, and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills. Proficiency with large data sets and effective communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, accounting, or applicable field.
• Up to three years’ corporate finance experience in a large real estate or REIT.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Experience working with large data sets; Argus Enterprise is a plus.
• Understand and compile basic proforma financial statements.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with annual business plan preparation and quarterly reforecasts including review of investment plans, effect on return metrics, variance analysis.
• Review, document and consolidate investment valuations and ensure calculations align with internal policies.
• Support the internal capital markets team throughout the debt financing process.
• Produce and manage financial models to calculate current and projected performance.
• Generate materials for monthly operations meetings.
• Maintain Argus files for leasing, operating and market assumptions.
• Maintain development reporting at the project level.
• Develop and update presentations for internal and external audiences.
• Perform other ad hoc requests as assigned.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Assist with annual business plan preparation and quarterly reforecasts including review of investments plans, effect of changes to return metric, detailed analysis of current strategy, and variance analysis to underwriting
• Review, document and consolidate investment valuations and ensure calculations are in line with internal policies
• Support the internal capital markets team throughout the debt financing process
• Produce / manage financial models used to calculate current / projected performance
• Generate materials for monthly operations meeting
• Maintain / update Argus files for various metrics including leasing, operating and market
• assumptions
• Maintain development reporting at the project level
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with property and corporate accounting teams to ensure accuracy and the reporting timelines are met
• Develop and update presentations for both internal and external audiences
• Other ad hoc requests as assigned

Your Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, accounting, or applicable field
• Up to three years’ experience working in corporate finance, a Fortune 100 company, a large
• real estate investment company or a public REIT
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Strong knowledge and demonstrated competence in working with large data sets
• Argus Enterprise experience is a plus
• Understand and compile basic proforma financial statements
• Effective communication and presentation skills
• Ability to multi-task with good time management to meet multiple deadlines
