Job summary

BGRE is seeking a Financial Analyst in Atlanta, GA to support annual planning, forecasting, and valuation activities. You will build and maintain financial models, consolidate investment valuations, and assist debt financing efforts, leveraging advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, up to three years of corporate finance experience, and strong data-analysis capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, accounting, or applicable field.
• Up to three years’ experience working in corporate finance, a Fortune 100 company, a large real estate investment company or a public REIT.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Strong knowledge and demonstrated competence in working with large data sets.
• Argus Enterprise experience is a plus.
• Understand and compile basic proforma financial statements.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to multi-task with good time management to meet multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with annual business plan preparation and quarterly reforecasts including review of investments plans, effect of changes to return metric, detailed analysis of current strategy, and variance analysis to underwriting
• Review, document and consolidate investment valuations and ensure calculations are in line with internal policies
• Support the internal capital markets team throughout the debt financing process
• Produce / manage financial models used to calculate current / projected performance
• Generate materials for monthly operations meeting
• Maintain / update Argus files for various metrics including leasing, operating and market assumptions
• Maintain development reporting at the project level
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with property and corporate accounting teams to ensure accuracy and the reporting timelines are met
• Develop and update presentations for both internal and external audiences
• Other ad hoc requests as assigned
