Job Description

Are you ready to be the driving force behind our Business Unit's success? As the Manager of Reporting and Analysis for Investment Finance, you'll transform financial data into strategic insights that propel our growth and profitability. Your expertise will shape our priorities and plans, helping us navigate risks and seize opportunities confidently.

Key Responsibilities

This role is hybrid, with Chicago-based in-office requirements to support business objectives and collaborate with key stakeholders.

What you'll be working on:

  • You will lead analysis, reporting, and storyline development of monthly and quarterly financial results for senior leadership, supporting SEC reporting, quarterly earnings releases, and analyst calls.
  • Conduct complex analysis of investment portfolio results, evaluating detailed data to communicate drivers of variances and trends.
  • Oversee the investment income statement close process, including decision-making, managing timelines, controls (including SOX), and other priorities.
  • Lead team members to ensure efficiency and effectiveness, resolving conflicts, upskilling, and improving processes and systems.
  • Coordinate committee reviews for internally valued investments with operations and asset managers.

Key Skills/Capabilities:

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Analytical skills, with investment portfolio analysis experience a plus.
  • Effective written and verbal communication.
  • Attention to detail and control orientation.
  • Knowledge of Power BI, SQL, and Workiva preferred.

Education

Compensation

Annual salary ranges from $92,560 to $166,465, based on experience and qualifications.
