San José State University is seeking a Financial Aid Systems Analyst to research, develop, implement, and maintain business processes and PeopleSoft-based financial aid systems. You will troubleshoot PeopleSoft modules, lead functional initiatives, and collaborate with students, staff, and campus units.

The role requires knowledge of PeopleSoft Query, SQL, and financial aid regulations, along with strong communication, analytical, and project coordination skills.

Competenze

• Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Two (2) years of relevant experience; advanced degree may substitute for the required experience.

Mansioni

• Maintain and configure PeopleSoft financial aid processes, queries, programs, reports, and annual system setup activities
• Process and monitor ISIR, Cal ISIR, Middle Class Scholarship, and Cal Grant data while ensuring data accuracy and integrity
• Serve as a liaison between functional and technical staff; analyze system changes, coordinate testing, support upgrades, and translate business needs into functional specifications
• Develop reports for financial aid staff and campus departments, support audits and regulatory reporting, and assist with resolving complex data discrepancies
• Coordinate projects, lead technical implementations, develop procedures, and train staff by creating user guides and process documentation
