The position entails analyzing business processes, supporting daily maintenance of CSULB’s financial aid modules, and developing end-user training materials for policy adherence and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of financial aid needs analysis methodology and federal/state guidelines.
• Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to interpret and analyze complex financial aid regulations.
• Experience with aid program delivery platforms and data systems.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining and enhancing the financial aid module functionality.
• Provide maintenance support and testing of regular system updates and fixes.
• Analyze new software systems and processes to improve performance and data quality.
• Monitor automated and manual control functions for timely processing.
