Job summary

California State University Long Beach is seeking a Financial Aid System Analyst in Long Beach. You will collaborate with the Associate Director/Systems and Financial Aid Lead to improve processing quality and implement technical solutions for operations.

Responsibilities include configuring, testing, maintaining, and updating the financial aid module, while ensuring compliance with program rules and regulations and documenting solutions for end users.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Two years of related experience preferred.
Knowledge of financial aid regulations and practices.
Ability to use MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Visio and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

Maintain and enhance financial aid module functionality and production support.
Test regular system updates, troubleshoot issues, and assess impact on processes.
Analyze new software and business processes to improve efficiency and data quality.
Monitor automated and manual control functions for timely processing and compliance.
Develop online financial aid training modules for end users.
