Job summary

City Colleges of Chicago seeks Federal Work Study – Financial Aid Student Representatives at Harold Washington Campus. You will support the Financial Aid Department, greet students, and assist with inquiries across in-person and virtual channels.

Ideal candidates are enrolled CCC students with at least 6 credit hours and a 2.0 GPA, able to work flexible campus hours, and proficient in Excel and Zoom. Equal opportunity employer; on-campus positions available.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience and courtesy in a campus setting.
• Ability to respond to student inquiries via email, phone, and Zoom.
• Must maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA and be enrolled in CCC programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist at reception desk, greet students, faculty, and staff.
• Support Greeting Center with directions and information.
• Assist staff in day-to-day office functions.
• Respond to inquiries via email, phone, and Zoom.
• Adhere to CCC Customer Service standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Excel and FAFSA processes.
• Maintain flexible hours within Mon–Thu 9–5 and Fri 9–1.
