The Technician also serves as a primary contact in Financial Aid, offering accurate guidance to students, families, and staff in all aspects of the financial aid process—identifying those who need to meet with a counselor or administrator to resolve more complex issues.

Qualifications

• Experience advising students and families on financial aid programs, eligibility requirements, and deadlines.
• Ability to perform verification, review eligibility criteria, and perform need analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide advising and general customer service on financial aid processes to students and families.
• Assist in determining and evaluating eligibility by verifying data and performing need analysis.
• Support specialized processing and training for assigned financial aid programs.
• Assist with administration of general financial aid programs and re-evaluations during the aid cycle.
