The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay seeks a Financial Aid Officer (1 Year Temporary) to evaluate and verify financial aid applications, assist with reporting to facilitate awarding, and manage Title IV and state funds. The role may hire or supervise student staff and serves as a contact for third-party stakeholders.
Start Date: November 2, 2026; End Date: November 3, 2027. Compensation: $46,000–$48,000; Hybrid/On-campus.

Position Title: Financial Aid Officer (1 Year Temporary) Job Category: Academic Staff Employment Type: Terminal (Fixed Term) Job Profile: Financial Aid Officer Job Duties: Evaluates and verifies financial aid applications, assists with reporting to facilitate the awarding of financial aid to qualifying students, triages financial aid processes, and awards financial aid. This position will serve multiple roles within the Financial Aid Office. Duties will include file review and verification, working with students and/or families, as well as being available to discuss or present on financial aid at various on or off campus events. Will assist with awarding various Title IV and State funds, as well as University and external scholarship processing. Accuracy and attention to detail are required.
Start Date: November 2, 2026 End Date November 3, 2027 Department: Financial Aid Compensation: Compensation range of $46,000 - $48,000 This position is exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
This position may have the option to work on-campus or a hybrid schedule, subject to approved telecommuting request. The home campus of this position is Green Bay and the successful candidate may occasionally be required to travel to or work at the Marinette, Sheboygan or Manitowoc Campus, based on operational needs.
Position is a full-time, 1 year temporary Academic Staff appointment. A pre-employment education check which includes, but is not limited to, the verification of academic credentials will be conducted on the finalist(s). A criminal conviction investigation will be conducted on the finalist(s) and if there is prior work history within the last 7 years with Universities of Wisconsin, a personnel file review check for employee misconduct.
