Corporate Financial Aid Officer
About The Role

We’re looking for a detail‑driven and compliance‑focused Corporate Financial Aid Officer to support financial aid operations across our campuses. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in ensuring students receive accurate, timely aid while maintaining strict adherence to federal and institutional regulations.

What You’ll Do
  • Package and process student financial aid (Title IV and non‑Title IV), including verification, eligibility review, and disbursement approvals
  • Reconcile student‑level disbursement data with federal systems to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Conduct audits and quality checks to maintain timely and accurate processing across all financial aid functions
  • Support program reviews and audits, including preparing documentation and responses
  • Stay current on regulatory guidance from the U.S. Department of Education and ensure adherence to all applicable standards
  • Uphold the Financial Aid Code of Conduct and maintain compliance with federal, state, and accrediting bodies
  • Provide regular updates to leadership, identify issues, and proactively drive resolution
  • Collaborate with internal teams while managing individual responsibilities effectively
What You Bring
Education
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • College coursework in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred (or equivalent financial aid experience)
Experience & Skills
  • Experience processing financial aid, including familiarity with financial aid systems and web‑based modules
  • Strong understanding of compliance in a regulated environment (education or similar industry preferred)
  • Highly detail‑oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
  • Strong communication skills with a service‑oriented mindset
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability
  • Self‑starter who can work independently while also collaborating effectively across teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint); CampusNexus experience is a plus
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed
