The role includes advising on programs, FAFSA completion, verification, and documentation; evaluating eligibility for federal/state aid; counseling on loans and financial literacy; and conducting workshops to promote financial wellness and aid opportunities across campus.

Qualifications

• 0 - 6 months experience in a finance-related position with customers and regulations is highly preferred.
• Associate degree is required.

Responsibilities

• Advise students and families on financial aid programs, eligibility requirements, and application procedures.
• Provide FAFSA completion assistance, verification, and documentation support.
• Evaluate eligibility for federal, state, and institutional aid per regulations.
• Counsel on loans, budgeting, and repayment responsibilities.
• Conduct workshops to raise awareness of aid opportunities and financial wellness.
• Collaborate with campus departments to ensure clear communication in the aid process.
• Assist with reporting, reconciliation, and audits and maintain accurate data in systems.
• Create and distribute materials to help students navigate financial aid and scholarships.
